Transformation without Trying taught by Sue Neufeld, RYT
Restorative yoga is a mini vacation from your busy life and is a journey into tranquility and well-being. It's the yoga that gently reminds the nervous system to relax, the adrenals to restore and the organs to be nurtured. Other benefits associated with the deep relaxation of restorative yoga include: slower heart rate, improved circulation, lower blood pressure and reduced muscle tension.
Class ends with Yoga Nidra (a healing guided yogic sleep with awareness) and meditation.
Beginner’s welcome.
Bring a bath towel, one bed pillow & two throw pillows, and an eye pillow or washcloth.

A meditation and Dharma study group that is an alternative to the mainstream meditation scene.
The Elm City Dharma Collective came together in June 2007 to help bring a sense of community and sangha to Connecticut, to bring together like minded individuals for a peer meditation/dharma study group, and to support and encourage alternatives to the mainstream meditation scene that has taken root here in the West. This group is inspired by the teachings of Noah Levine and all those who 'go Against the Stream'.
