Kate's teaching style promotes a positive, non-judgmental atmosphere. Her focus is on foundational form and breath to create a healthy body/mind connection. What first drew Kate into yoga was that from the outside it appeared both very spiritual and physically challenging at the same time. After practicing yoga for four years she began teacher training. Once she fully committed to that journey, she realized that the more she learned about the path of yoga the more she wanted to know. Kate continues her study through workshops and study groups.
Kate has a grown son who lives in California. She loves to cook, read and travel, particularly to hike in the great out of doors.
