Parent & Baby yoga is an enjoyable way to get to know your baby as well as an aid to moms in post-natal recovery. In our small, friendly group you will learn postures that will help muscle tone, offer support for the back and boost energy levels.
Learn simple techniques to calm your baby and aid baby's digestion. Bond through touch and rhythmic movement, encouraging baby’s development.
Please bring a blanket for your baby and all other items your child may need to be comfortable (pacifier, toys, etc.)
Babies should be 6 weeks to 9 months (pre-crawling).
Yoga experience is NOT required.

Leslie Robinson has been a midwife for over 28 years, and has taught Prenatal Yoga classes for 8. She is an energy medicine practitioner and a Level 2 Reiki practitioner. Leslie teaches Parent and Baby Yoga to help support parents in maintaining the connections of community and to provide a safe and welcoming place for parents to continue their yoga practice, reduce stress and enhance their parenting. She lives in Hamden with her husband and 2 daughters.
