Join Agni for an introduction to Ayurveda, yoga's sister science and natural approach to health.
You'll learn basic principals of Ayurveda, including identifying your primal constitutional state (dosha), exploring your current state of being (vikriti) and learning how to support your doshas for optimal health and well being.
You'll learn about the Ayurvedic understanding of universal substances, particularly the five great elements of earth, water, fire, air and ether, and how we can avoid disease by attending to the balance of elements within us.
The workshop consists of 2 hours of lecture and 1 hour of restorative yoga practice, focused on balancing VATA dosha (the constitution that is most present in nature from mid Autumn through mid Winter). Learning to care for this constitution will allow us to experience a healthy and happy season.
