Yogaspirit® 200hr YTT Information Session

200 hour yoga teacher certification

Stretch your consciousness, build strength and flexibility, and release karmic patterns by uniting with the heart of yoga. Learn to correctly align your physical body to move you deeper into emotional balance and spiritual awakening. You will learn to nourish your body, mind and spirit through practical yoga applications and technique as you become a skilled and inspired yoga teacher.

The 200-Hour yogaspirit® Teacher Certification is a comprehensive yoga immersion that leads to professional and personal development as a yoga teacher and student. We provide a learning environment with an atmosphere of safety and compassion. A sacred space is cultivated as student teachers dig deep into themselves and intertwine their study of yogic philosophy and spiritual principles creating a foundation for student teachers to gain the self awareness and actualization to teach this art to others.

200-Hour yogaspirit Curriculum covers:

The yogaspirit philosophy educates our students on how to live by true yogic principles by integrating Hatha, Tantra, Ayurveda, and Surat Shabda Yoga teachings.

yogaspirit Studios focuses on teaching from a place of safety, therapeutic alignment and Iyengar Hatha based asana to bring you yogaspirit FORM. This aspect of the training allows for students to have a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental concepts that are at the base of all other styles of yoga. Along with the study of Ayurvedic principles which support each individual’s needs and uniqueness, students soon realize that yoga is a personal path and that practice regardless of style can be different according to temperament. As a result, students are also taught how to introduce form, flow, and power vinyasa based classes connecting movement with breath and integrating strength and energy.

Our own Saskia Bergmans Smith will be teaching the weekly portions of this training.
