Moving through Loss with Strength and Compassion

In our lives, we will inevitably face loss: loss of love, loved ones, status, income, or work, just to name a few. How can we move through these inevitable challenges with equanimity and self- compassion and access our natural reserves of resilience?
In this two-part workshop, we’ll explore how to use yoga practice to develop compassion and insight during times of loss, and find the strength, courage, and knowledge to not get stuck.
Saturday: 1-3 p.m.: Softening the Hold: We’ll explore where we might unconsciously be holding grief—in our nervous system, in our hearts, and in our bodies --and work to begin to soften and soothe our tissues.
Sunday: 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: Strengthening Our Resilience: We’ll explore how to restore our natural state of kindness and understanding, moving through loss without getting stuck in it.
